Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including IL-11 receptor alpha are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.
Source: HEK Cells
Source Note: DNA sequence encoding extracellular domain of Mouse IL-11RA fused to a C-terminal polyHis tag was expressed in HEK cells.
Biological Activity: The activity was determined by its ability to bind mouse IL-6ST in functional ELISA. Endotoxin: Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method.
Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug).
Reconstitution: A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Molecular Weight Note: Recombinant Mouse Interleukin-11RA is a monomer consisting of 355 amino acid residue subunits, and migrates as an approximately 46 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.
Presentation: Recombinant mouse Interleukin-11 alpha was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered PBS solution pH 7.4.
