The NKIRAS2 nkiras2 (Catalog #MBS631230) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-Human NFkB, p65 (NF-kB, Nuclear Factor kappa B, RelA) reacts with Bovine, Canine, Drosophila, Hamster, Human, Mouse, Porcine, Rabbit, Rat, Xenopus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NFkB, p65 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50-1:100 for 20 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NKIRAS2 nkiras2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The NKIRAS2 nkiras2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #222136632) (NCBI Accession #NP_001138401.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NYR9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the anti-Human NFkB, p65 (NF-kB, Nuclear Factor kappa B, RelA) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human placenta stained with MBS631230 using peroxidase-conjugate and AEC chromogen. Cytoplasmic staining of trophoblasts, fibroblasts and endothelial cells can be seen.)
Immunohistochemistry NKIRAS2.

Western Blot (Western Blot using MBS631230)
Western Blot NKIRAS2.

NF kappa B is a heterodimer consisting of a 50kD DNA binding subunit and a 65kD transactivating subunit (RelA). The p50/p65 heterodime is present in the cytoplasm in inactive form bound to its inhibitor, IkB. Upon stimulation of cells with stimuli like LPS, Interleukin-1, IkB gets phosphorylated and degraded by proteosomes releasing the activated NFkB which goes to the nucleus inducing gene expression. NFkB was originally identified as transcriptional activator for kappa light cahain gene in B cells.

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide from the C-terminus of human NF kappa B protein. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic. Positive Control: Jurkat cells, Placenta. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NKIRAS2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NKIRAS2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
