anti-CD147 antibody product blogThe CD147 bsg (Catalog #MBS212649) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CD147 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB).
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/25; Maximum Dilution: 1/50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD147 bsg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD147 bsg product has the following accession number(s) (GI #116014342) (NCBI Accession #NP_001070652.1) (Uniprot Accession #P18572). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rat anti Mouse CD147 antibody, clone OX114 recognizes mouse CD147 (also known as basigin). CD147 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is widely expressed on leukocytes, red cells, platelets and endothelial cells. The reported functions of CD147 are diverse and include involvement in T-cell activation, cell adhesion and induction of matrix metalloproteinases. Rat anti Mouse CD147 antibody, clone OX114 recognizes both isoforms of CD147, the common form containing 2 Ig-like domains and the rare form containing 3 Ig-like domains. Rat anti Mouse CD147 antibody, clone OX114 is routinely tested in flow cytometry on mouse splenocytes. Note that for staining of whole blood samples increased amounts of antibody may be required due to the presence of CD147 on erythrocytes.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. Immunogen: Fusion protein mCD147dO-2rCD4d3

Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD147 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD147 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
