Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of Mouse Visceral Adipose-specific Serine Protease Inhibitor (also known as VASPIN) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse VASPIN antibody. VASPIN present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse VASPIN Antibody is added and binds to VASPIN in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated VASPIN antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse VASPIN. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
Samples: Serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates
Assay Type: Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range: 15ng/L - 3000ng/L
Sensitivity: 7.53ng/L. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-Assay: CV<10%. Mouse Visceral adipose-specific serine protease inhibitor, vaspin ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
