|The TNFSF15 tnfsf15 (Catalog #MBS659386) is a Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s TL1A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
The peptide is used for blocking the activity of TL1A (NT) antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37 degree C. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFSF15 tnfsf15 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TNFSF15 tnfsf15 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #23510445) (NCBI Accession #NP_005109.2) (Uniprot Accession #O95150). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

TL1A, also known as tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 15 (TNFSF15). TL1A acts as a co-stimulator of IFN-gamma secretion through binding to DR3 (death domain receptor 3 or TRAMP) and may play an important role in Th1-mediated diseases such as Crohn\'s disease. In cells expressing DR3, TL1A induces NF-kappa-B activation and apoptosis. Decoy receptor 3 (DcR3) is also a receptor for TL1A. DcR3 can apparently neutralise the effect of TL1A, by inhibiting the TL1A-DR3 interaction, thereby inhibiting apoptosis. TL1A is specifically expressed on endothelial cells and is detected on monocytes, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, skeletal muscle, pancreas, spleen, prostate, small intestine and colon.
Location: 14aa near the amino terminus of human TL1A (1). Atherosclerosis, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Colitis, Colitis, Ulcerative, Fibrosis, Hyperplasia, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to TL1A (Control Peptide) (TNFSF15, Tumor Necrosis Factor Ligand Superfamily Member 15). Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Prostate, Testis, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein. TNFSF15 also interacts with the following gene(s): ATG16L1, IL23R, IRGM, NKX2-3, NOD2, TNFRSF25, TNFRSF6B, TNFSF8. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
