TNF alpha is a potent pleiotrophic cytokine, produced by white blood cells, endothelium and several other normal and Tumor cells in response to a wide variety of stimuli. TNF alpha is involved in the pathophysiological processes of several chronic and acute diseases including the induction of apoptosis and up regulation of inflammation. Recombinant TNF alpha comprises a 157 amino acid fragment (77-233) corresponding to the mature soluble TNF alpha chain protein. TNF alpha is expressed in E Coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is not intended for therapeutic use.

TNFa tnf

Buffer: Buffered 50% glycerol. Atherosclerosis, Colitis, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Insulin Resistance, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Pain, Reperfusion Injury are some of the diseases may be linked to Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNFa) (Western Blot Control). TNFa also interacts with the following gene(s): CD83, FOXP3, ICAM1, IFNG, IKBKG, ITGAM, MMP9, MYC, RELB, TNFRSF1A. Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Heart, Intestine, Lung, Lymph Node, Ovary, Placenta, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
