The Rat RLN rln1 (Catalog #MBS2022180) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS2022180 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat (Rattus, General) RLN.

The RLN rln1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #490056) (NCBI Accession #CAA00599.1) (Uniprot Accession #P04808). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Relaxin (RLN) ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) RLN.

This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific to Relaxin (RLN) has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Relaxin (RLN) and unlabeled Relaxin (RLN) (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to Relaxin (RLN). After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Relaxin (RLN) in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of Relaxin (RLN) in the sample.

Assay Type: Competitive Inhibition
Samples: Serum, Plasma and Other Biological Fluids
Detection Range: 24.69-2000pg/mL
Sensitivity: < 8.79pg/mL. Application: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Antigen Detection.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Relaxin (RLN) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Relaxin (RLN) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) =: SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%. Relaxin (RLN) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. RLN also interacts with the following gene(s): INSL3, INSL5, RLN3, RXFP1, RXFP2, RXFP4. Death, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Genital Diseases, Male, Heart Diseases, Hypertrophy, Lung Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Prostatic Diseases, Prostatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Relaxin (RLN) ELISA Kit. Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Prostate, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
