The rIL 13 il13 (Catalog #MBS143176) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase.

The rIL 13 il13 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #16758680) (NCBI Accession #NP_446280.1) (Uniprot Accession #P42203). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including Interleukin-13 are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.

rIL 13 il13

Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin 13 in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Protein Content: Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods:1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 0.69 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated solution of IL-13 as a Reference Standard.
Biological Activity: ED50 range = 2-6 ng/mL as determined by the dose dependent proliferation of human TF-1 cells. Optimal concentration for individual application should be determined by a dose response assay. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. rIL 13 also interacts with the following gene(s): Csf2, Il13ra1, Il15, Il2, Il4ra, Il5, Il9, Nos2, Stat6. Asthma, Bronchial Hyperreactivity, Dermatitis, Atopic, Fibrosis, Hypersensitivity, Hypersensitivity, Immediate, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Hypersensitivity are some of the diseases may be linked to Recombinant Rat Interleukin-13.
