Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PTGDS. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated PTGDS. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP-conjugated PTGDS and PTGDS in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of PTGDS in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 93.75 pg/ml -6000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of bovine PTGDS is typically less than 46.8 pg/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest bovine PTGDS concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Bovine Prostaglandin-H2 D-isomerase, PTGDS ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Ovary, Testis, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Depressive Disorder, Drug Toxicity, Hyperplasia, Mood Disorders, Neoplasms, Nervous System Malformations, Pain, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Bovine Prostaglandin-H2 D-isomerase, PTGDS ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
