Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GRO-beta Mouse in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Protein Content: Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods:1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 0.015 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a standard solution of GRO-b as a Reference Standard.
Biological Activity: The Biological activity was determined by its ability to chemoattract total human neutrophils using a concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 105-106units/mg. Bone Marrow, Mammary Gland, Pancreas, Skin, Spleen, Uncharacterized Tissue, Vagina tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Disease Models, Animal, Edema, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Injury, Necrosis, Pneumonia, Reperfusion Injury, Skin Diseases, Wounds and Injuries are some of the diseases may be linked to Recombinant Mouse GRO-beta/MIP-2 (CXCL2).
