Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Chicken Insulin ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to INS. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Biotin-conjugated INS. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between INS (Standards or samples) and Biotin-conjugated INS with the pre-coated antibody specific for INS. The more amount of INS in samples, the less antibody bound by Biotin-conjugated INS. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of INS in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenates
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 100 pg/ml-1600 pg/ml
Sensitivity: 100 pg/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Chicken Insulin ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. INS also interacts with the following gene(s): CPE, CTSD, GCK, HLA-DQB1, IDE, IGF1R, INSR, RB1, SYTL4. Blood, Bone, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Muscle, Nerve, Pancreas, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Diabetes Mellitus, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Fatty Liver, Hyperglycemia, Hyperinsulinism, Hypertension, Insulin Resistance, Metabolic Diseases, Obesity, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome are some of the diseases may be linked to Chicken Insulin ELISA Kit.
