The intact Chicken IgY molecule was purified from egg yolk using multiple fractionation procedures. This product was shown to be > 95% pure by SDS page gel.
Preservative: 0.1% sodium azide
Procedure: The IgY was purified by a combination of salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography.
Specifications: Antibody concentration was determined by extinction coefficient: O.D. 1.32 at 280nM equals 1.0mg of IgY (IgG). Buffer: Phosphate buffered saline, pH7.2.
