Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for FSH and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated FSH. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled FSH and unlabeled FSH with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of FSH in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma
Assay Type: Quantitative Competitive
Detection Range: 4 mIU/ml-140 mIU/ml
Sensitivity: < 2.5 mIU/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. mouse follicle-stimulating hormone, FSH ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. FSH also interacts with the following gene(s): INS. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Mammary Gland, Muscle, Placenta, Spleen, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Diseases, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to mouse follicle-stimulating hormone, FSH ELISA Kit.
