Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Coagulation Factor VIII (F8). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Coagulation Factor VIII (F8). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Coagulation Factor VIII (F8), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Coagulation Factor VIII (F8) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Assay Type: Double-antibody Sandwich
Detection Range: 0.625-40ng/mL
Sensitivity: < 0.273ng/mL. Application: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Antigen Detection.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Coagulation Factor VIII (F8) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Coagulation Factor VIII (F8) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) =: SD/meanX100
Inter-Assay: CV<12%. Coagulation Factor VIII (F8) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Dorsal Root Ganglion, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Liver, Lung, Other, Pancreas, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Hemophilia A, Hemorrhage, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Thrombosis, Venous Thrombosis are some of the diseases may be linked to Coagulation Factor VIII (F8) ELISA Kit.
