Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Human Erythropoietin (EPO) ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is human EPO monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.
Samples: Human serum, plasma or Cell Culture Supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant EPO concentration
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 10 ng/ml-0.156 ng/ml
Sensitivity: 0.05 ng/ml. Intra-assay Precision: <= 8%
Inter-assay Precision: <= 12%. Human Erythropoietin (EPO) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. EPO also interacts with the following gene(s): EPOR, GATA2, HIF1A, JAK1, JAK2, NOS3, STAT3, TFRC, VEGFA. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Anemia, Central Nervous System Diseases, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Kidney Failure, Chronic, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases, Renal Insufficiency are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Erythropoietin (EPO) ELISA Kit. Brain, Eye, Prostate, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
