The Rat CXCR1 cxcr1 (Catalog #MBS720845) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS720845 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat (Rattus, General) CXCR1.

The CXCR1 cxcr1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #62911779) (NCBI Accession #AAY21515.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Rat CXC-chemokine receptor 1 ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) CXCR1.

Intended Uses: This CXCR1 ELISA kit is intended Laboratory for research use only and is not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration ofCXCR1 in the sample, thisCXCR1 ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versusCXCR1 concentration. The concentration ofCXCR1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Principle of the Assay: This CXCR1 enzyme linked immunosorbent assay applies a technique called a quantitative sandwich immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific forCXCR1. Standards or samples are then added to the microtiter plate wells andCXCR1 if present, will bind to the antibody pre-coated wells. In order to quantitatively determine the amount ofCXCR1 present in the sample, a standardized preparation of horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated polyclonal antibody, specific forCXCR1 are added to each well to "sandwich" theCXCR1 immobilized on the plate. The microtiter plate undergoes incubation, and then the wells are thoroughly washed to remove all unbound components. Next, An and B substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme (HRP) and substrate are allowed to react over a short incubation period. Only those wells that containCXCR1 and enzyme-conjugated antibody will exhibit a change in colour. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the colour change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm.

Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 0.5-10ng/mL
Sensitivity: 0.1ng/ml. Rat CXC-chemokine receptor 1 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
