The CCR4 ccr4 (Catalog #MBS542607) is a Positive Control and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CCR4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCR4 ccr4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CCR4 ccr4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #5031627) (NCBI Accession #NP_005499) (Uniprot Accession #P51679). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB)
Western Blot Positive Control C-C chemokine receptor type 4 Antibody
Receptor for C-C type chemokines CCL17/TARC and CCL22/MDC. Functions as chemoattractant homing receptor on circulating memory lymphocytes and as coreceptor for some primary HIV-2 isolates. Can also mediate hippocampal-neuron survival.
Immunogen: Purified Protein
Expression: Thymus, peripheral blood leukocytes including T-cells, CD4+ cells, basophils and in platelets. Expressed less in spleen and in monocytes. Also found in macrophages, IL-2-activated natural killer cells and skin-homing memory T-cells, mostly the ones expresseding cutaneous lymphocyte antigen. Expressed in brain and microvascular and coronary artery endothelial cells. Molecular Function: GPCR, Receptor, Transducer.
Structure: Belongs to G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Interacts with CREB3.
Subcellular Location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Brain, Lung, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein. Death, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Leukemia-Lymphoma, Adult T-Cell, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Sezary Syndrome are some of the diseases may be linked to CCR4 Antibody Positive Control. CCR4 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCL17, CCL22, CCL25, CCL27, CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CXCL12, IL8.
