Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
For Sample For the quantitative determination of mouse macrophage inflammatory protein 1? (MIP-1?) concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates.
PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for MIP-1? has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any MIP-1? present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for MIP-1? is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of MIP-1? bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Mouse Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1alpha, MIP-1alpha ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. CCL3 also interacts with the following gene(s): BCL6, CCBP2, CCR1, CCR3, CCR4, CCR5, CEBPB, TGFB1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, HIV Infections, Hypersensitivity, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Pneumonia are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1alpha, MIP-1alpha ELISA Kit.
