Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for BALP has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any BALP present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for BALP is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of BALP bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenates
Assay Type: Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range: 15.6 U/L-1000 U/L
Sensitivity: 3.9 U/L. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Mouse Brain derived neurotrophic facor, BDNF ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Body Weight, Brain Injuries, Brain Ischemia, Cognition Disorders, Depressive Disorder, Inflammation, Memory Disorders, Nerve Degeneration, Nervous System Diseases, Schizophrenia are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Brain derived neurotrophic facor, BDNF ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Ear, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Muscle, Umbilical Cord, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. BDNF also interacts with the following gene(s): FLNA.
