Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Human Apolipoprotein L1, APOL1 ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with APOL1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) -conjugated antibody preparation specific for APOL1C mix well and incubated. The more the amount of APOL1 in samples, the less HRP-antibody bound by pre-coated APOL1. Then a TMB (3,3\',5,5\' tetramethyl-benzidine) substrate solution is added to each well. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of APOL1 in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, tissue homogenates
Detection Range: 7.81 ng/ml-500 ng/ml
Sensitivity: 1.95 ng/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV% is less than 8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV% is less than 10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Detection Wavelength: 450 nm
Sample Volume: 50-100ul
Protein Biological Process 1: Biosynthesis/Metabolism
Protein Biological Process 2: Lipogenesis and lipometabolism
Protein Biological Process 3: Cholesterol metabolism. Human Apolipoprotein L1, APOL1 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. APOL1 also interacts with the following gene(s): APOA1, APOL3, APOL6, CD163, HPR, MYH9. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Lung, Muscle, Pancreas, Placenta, Prostate, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Atherosclerosis, Dyslipidemias, FOCAL SEGMENTAL GLOMERULOSCLEROSIS 4, SUSCEPTIBILITY TO, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Necrosis, Proteinuria, Renal Insufficiency, Schizophrenia are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Apolipoprotein L1, APOL1 ELISA Kit.
