The YWHAZ ywhaz (Catalog #MBS247742) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Polyclonal (IgG) to Human YWHAZ / 14-3-3 Zeta reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s YWHAZ / 14-3-3 Zeta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).ELISA (1:1000), IHC-P (5 ug/ml), WB (1:500 - 1:1000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the YWHAZ ywhaz for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The YWHAZ ywhaz product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4507953) (NCBI Accession #NP_003397.1) (Uniprot Accession #P63104). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Rabbit Polyclonal (IgG) to Human YWHAZ / 14-3-3 Zeta with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Anti-14-3-3 Zeta antibody IHC of human small intestine. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody dilution 5 ug/ml.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot of extracts from HeLa/Jurkat/COLO cells, using 14-3-3 zeta Antibody. The lane on the right is treated with the synthesized peptide.)
This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse, rat and sheep orthologs. The encoded protein interacts with IRS1 protein, suggesting a role in regulating insulin sensitivity.
Target Species: Human
Immunogen Description: Synthetic peptide from human 14-3-3 zeta (aa51-100). Immunogen: YWHAZ / 14-3-3 Zeta antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human 14-3-3 zeta (aa51-100).
Antigen Modification: aa51-100. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing YWHAZ are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as YWHAZ may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Placenta, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein.
