The TRPA1 trpa1 (Catalog #MBS535657) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TRPA1 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s TRPA1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin.
IHC-P: 10-20 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRPA1 trpa1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The TRPA1 trpa1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #116534990) (NCBI Accession #NP_015628) (Uniprot Accession #O75762). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal TRPA1 antibody.

TRPA1 trpa1

Biological Significance: Transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily A, member 1, also known as TRPA1, is a protein which in humans is encoded by the TRPA1 (and in other species by the Trpa1) gene. TRPA1 is an ion channel located on the plasma membrane of many human and animal cells. This ion channel is best known as a sensor for environmental irritants, pain, and cold. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: TRPA1 antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TRPA1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TRPA1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. TRPA1 also interacts with the following gene(s): ARTN, FOS, TRPM3, TRPM4, TRPM7, TRPM8, TRPV1, TRPV2, VR1. Connective Tissue, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Mouth, Muscle, Prostate, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Asthma, Cough, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperalgesia, Hypersensitivity, Inflammation, Nervous System Diseases, Pain, Respiration Disorders, Sensation Disorders are some of the diseases may be linked to TRPA1 antibody.
