The TNK2 tnk2 (Catalog #MBS629670) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ACK1, NT (Tyrosine Kinase Non-receptor Protein 2, Activated CDC42 Kinase 1, ACK-1, TNK2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ACK1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNK2 tnk2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TNK2 tnk2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #58331191) (NCBI Accession #NP_001010938.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q07912). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ACK1, NT (Tyrosine Kinase Non-receptor Protein 2, Activated CDC42 Kinase 1, ACK-1, TNK2) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of ACK1 Antibody (N-term) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ACK1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of ACK1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal ACK1 Antibody (N-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the ACK1 gene (Lane 2) (60 KD recombinant protein).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human Lung carcinoma reacted with ACK1 Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H292 cells using ACK1 Antibody (N-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
ACK1 is a tyrosine kinase that binds Cdc42Hs in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42Hs. This binding is mediated by an unique sequence of 47aa C-terminal to an SH3 domain. The protein may be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42Hs and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway.
Immunogen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of amino acids within residues 17-47 in the N-terminal region of human ACK1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TNK2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TNK2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
