Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand in the TNF family through their death domain-containing receptors. TRAIL/Apo2L is a new member of the TNF family. A novel death domaincontaining receptor for TRAIL was recently identified and designated DR5, Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, or KILLER by several independent laboratories. Like DR4, DR5 transcript is widely expressed in normal tissues and in many types of tumor cells. DR5 binds to TRAIL and mediates TRAIL-induced cell death. Overexpression of DR5 induces apoptosis and activates NF- kappa B.
Antigen: Peptide corresponding to aa388-407 of human DR5 precursor. Stabilizer: None
Preservatives: 0.02% sodium azide.
Dilutions Instructions: Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TNFRSF10B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TNFRSF10B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Colorectal Neoplasms, Drug Toxicity, Leukemia, Liver Diseases, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-DR5 Antibody. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. TNFRSF10B also interacts with the following gene(s): CASP8, CFLAR, FADD, TNFRSF10A, TNFSF10. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
