|The TIMP3 timp3 (Catalog #MBS531921) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s TIMP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TIMP3 timp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The TIMP3 timp3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #998826) (NCBI Accession #AAB34532.1) (Uniprot Accession #P35625). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse monoclonal TIMP3 antibody.
Biological Significance: Metalloproteinase inhibitor 3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TIMP3 gene. This gene belongs to the tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases gene family. The proteins encoded by this gene family are inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Immunogen: TIMP3 antibody was raised in mouse using a sythetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 170-188 of human TIMP-3 as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing TIMP3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as TIMP3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to TIMP3 antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. TIMP3 also interacts with the following gene(s): ADAM17, ADAMTS4, EFEMP1, GSTP1, MMP14, MMP2, MMP3, MMP9, TP53.
