Mouse monoclonal Thyroxine antibody.

Thyroxine n/a

Biological Significance: Thyroxine is synthesized via the iodination and covalent bonding of the phenyl portions of tyrosine residues found in an initial peptide, thyroglobulin, which is secreted into thyroid granules. Thyroxine is involved in controlling the rate of metabolic processes in the body and influencing physical development. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Affinity Constant: 1.5 x 10^10 l/mol
Immunogen: Thyroxine antibody was raised in mouse using T4-BSA as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Thyroxine are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Thyroxine may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
