The Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E n/a (Catalog #MBS833386) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E antibody reacts with The cross reactivities to other types of Staphylococcus enterotoxin A, B, C and D were less than 0.01%, respectively. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA).
Use MBS832696 or MBS832924 as the capture antibody with MBS833386 as the detection antibody in sandwich immunoassays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E n/a

Biological Significance: An enterotoxin (not to be confused with endotoxin) is a protein toxin released by a microorganism in the intestine. Enterotoxins are chromosomally encoded exotoxins that are produced and secreted from several bacterial organisms. They are often heat-stable, and are of low molecular weight and water-soluble. Enterotoxins are frequently cytotoxic and kill cells by altering the apical membrane permeability of the mucosal (epithelial) cells of the intestinal wall. They are mostly pore-forming toxins (mostly chloride pores), secreted by bacteria, that assemble to form pores in cell membranes. This causes the cells to die. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as a preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E antibody was raised in mouse using Staphylococcal enterotoxin E as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Staphylococcus Enterotoxin Type E may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
