The SLC35D1 slc35d1 (Catalog #MBS150217) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Slc35D1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Slc35D1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Slc35D1 antibody can be used for detection of Slc35D1 by Western blot at 1 - 2 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC35D1 slc35d1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The SLC35D1 slc35d1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #14028875) (NCBI Accession #NP_055954) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NTN3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Slc35D1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of Slc35D1 inA-20 lysate with Slc35D1 antibody at (A) 1 and (B) 2 μg/mL.)
Slc35D1 Antibody: The solute carrier family Slc35 consists of at least 17 proteins that act as nucleotide sugar transporters localized to the Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum. The role of the ER-resident Slc family member Slc35D1 is to transport both UDP-glucuronic acid and UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine. These molecules can serve as substrates for chondroitin sulfate biosynthesis and mice lacking the Slc35D1 gene developed a lethal form of skeletal dysplasia with severe shortening of limbs and facial structures. Examination of epiphyseal cartilage in these mice revealed a decreased proliferating zone with round chrondrocytes, scarce matrices, and reduced proteoglycan aggregates. Loss of function mutations in human Slc35D1 cause Schneckenbecken dysplasia, a severe skeletal dysplasia.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Immunogen: Slc35D1 antibody was raised against a 14 amino acid synthetic peptide near the amino terminus of the human Slc35D1.
Buffer: Slc35D1 Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing SLC35D1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as SLC35D1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
