The PDE9A pde9a (Catalog #MBS535621) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PDE9A antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PDE9A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin.IHC-P: 20 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDE9A pde9a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PDE9A pde9a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #48762746) (NCBI Accession #NP_001001581) (Uniprot Accession #O76083). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal PDE9A antibody.
Biological Significance: Phosphodiesterases (PDEs) are a family of related phosphohydrolyases that selectively catalyze the hydrolysis of 3\' cyclic phosphate bonds in adenosine and/or guanine 3\',5\' cyclic monophosphate (cAMP and/or cGMP). They regulate the cellular levels, localization and duration of action of these second messengers by controlling the rate of their degradation. PDE5, 6 and 9 selectively degrade cGMP. These enzymes are involved in many signal transduction pathways. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: PDE9A antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PDE9A are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PDE9A may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Abnormalities, Multiple, Congenital Abnormalities, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Learning Disorders, Necrosis, Neurobehavioral Manifestations, Precancerous Conditions are some of the diseases may be linked to PDE9A antibody. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Liver, Lymph, Lymph Node, Nerve, Ovary, Prostate, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
