The Nur77 n/a (Catalog #MBS832947) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s Nur77 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).FC: <= 0.06 ug/test
A test is defined as the amount (ug)/test of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Nur77 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Nur77 antibody (PE) with the following immunoassay(s):
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (Staining of unstimulated (left) and 2-hr PMA and Ionomycin stimulated (right) C57BL/6 thymocytes with CD4 antibodyfollowed by intracellular staining with 0.5 ug of Nur77 antibody (PE) using the Foxp3 Staining Buffer Set. Total viable cells were used for analysis.)
Mouse monoclonal Nur77 antibody (PE).
Biological Significance: This 12.14 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Nur77, an inducible orphan nuclear receptor. Expressed in thymocytes and T cell lines, Nur77 promotes apoptosis and plays a role in thymocyte negative selection. Additionally, Nur77 has been shown to be critical for steroid biosynthesis in Leydig cells as well as for the effects of dopamine. In addition, Nur77 has been shown to interact with FoxP3 in regulatory T cells. However, our results with this antibody do not correlate with this observation. Tag/Conjugate: PE. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Nur77 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Nur77 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
