|The NR2E3 nr2e3 (Catalog #MBS623198) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NR2E3 (Nuclear receptor subfamily 2, group E, Member 3, ESCS, MGC49976, Nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group E member 3, Photoreceptor-specific nuclear receptor, PNR, rd7, Retina-specific nuclear receptor, RNR, RP37) reacts with Bovine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NR2E3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NR2E3 nr2e3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NR2E3 nr2e3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #27371232) (Uniprot Accession #Q8IVZ9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the NR2E3 (Nuclear receptor subfamily 2, group E, Member 3, ESCS, MGC49976, Nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group E member 3, Photoreceptor-specific nuclear receptor, PNR, rd7, Retina-specific nuclear receptor, RNR, RP37) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (Western Blot analysis: Bovine retina lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF and probed with MBS623198 (2ug/ml). Protein were visualized using a donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system)
NR2E3 protein is part of a large family of nuclear receptor transcription factors involved in signaling pathways. Nuclear receptors have been shown to regulate pathways involved in embryonic development, as well as in maintenance of proper cell function in adults. Members of this family are characterized by discrete domains that function in DNA and ligand binding. This gene encodes a retinal nuclear receptor that is a ligand-dependent transcription factor. Defects in this gene are a cause of enhanced S cone syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
Immunogen: Full Length Recombinant NR2E3 protein (Q9Y5X4). Positive Control: Bovine Retina tissue lysate. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NR2E3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NR2E3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
