|The NPPA nppa (Catalog #MBS352025) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ANP (Rat) IgG fraction reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ANP (Rat) IgG fraction can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Histo. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NPPA nppa for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NPPA nppa product has the following accession number(s) (GI #113864) (NCBI Accession #P01160.1) (Uniprot Accession #P01160). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The antiserum was raised in a rabbit which was immunized with Rat Atrial natriuretic peptide (28 amino acid sequence) covalently attached onto a carrier protein. The whole antiserum and IgG fraction have been characterized by RIA. ELISA. and cell staining techniques. This IgG fraction was prepared by precipitation. dialysis and column chromatography. Dilute the lyophilized antibody with 0.1 ml of 10 mg/ml BSA in PBS for the equivalent concentration of IgG in whole antiserum. or with additional buffer for more dilute antiserum.
Store the lyophilized powder at 4 degree C. After rehydrating the antibody. we recommend aliquoting into smaller portions and freezing at -20 degree C. Do not subject this antibody to repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Each vial contains 2.93 mg of purified IgG.
In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NPPA are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NPPA may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Lung, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. NPPA also interacts with the following gene(s): NPR1, NPR3. Cardiomegaly, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Defects, Congenital, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Hypertrophy, Kidney Diseases, Male Urogenital Diseases, Myocardial Ischemia, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ANP (Rat) IgG fraction.
