The MTA1 mta1 (Catalog #MBS421190) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-MTA1 Antibody reacts with Tested: Human; Expected from sequence similarity: Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MTA1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 16000.
Western Blot: Approx 75kDa band observed in Human Placenta lysates (calculated MW of 80.8kDa according to NP_004680.1). Recommended concentration: 0. 03-0.1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MTA1 mta1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The MTA1 mta1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #1008544) (NCBI Accession #AAA78935.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful. The amino acid sequence is listed below:

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Goat anti-MTA1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Staining (0. 03ug/ml) of Human Placenta lysate (RIPA buffer, 35ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour. Detected by western blot using chemiluminescence.)
Western Blot (WB) MTA1.

Immunogen: Peptide with sequence C-PGDVFYMPKE, from the internal region (near the C Terminus) of the protein sequence according to AAA78935.1.
Epitope: Internal region (near the C Terminus). Note: Immunizing peptide was designed based on NP_004680.1. The version changed to NP_004680.2 and no longer matches with the peptide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MTA1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MTA1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Prostate, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Ovarian Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Goat anti-MTA1 Antibody. MTA1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CHD3, CHD4, ESR1, HDAC1, HDAC2, RBBP4, RBBP7, TP53. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
