The MSR1 msr1 (Catalog #MBS609888) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Macrophage, Low Endotoxin (L1 Protein, Calprotectin, Cystic Fibrosis Antigen) reacts with Bovine, Canine, Equine, Feline, Goat, Guinea Pig, Human, Monkey, Porcine, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Macrophage, Low Endotoxin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200; Membrane permeabilization is required.
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen/Paraffin): 1:100-1:200; Paraffin sections require protein digestion pre-treatment (e.g. 0.1% trypsin) for 10 minutes or antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining the paraffin sections. Frozen sections do not require pretreatment. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MSR1 msr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MSR1 msr1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #20357512) (NCBI Accession #NP_619729.1) (Uniprot Accession #P21757). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Macrophage, Low Endotoxin (L1 Protein, Calprotectin, Cystic Fibrosis Antigen) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Macrophages stained with MBS609888 using enhanced DAB in experimental allergic marmoset brain. Mag. X 400.)
Testing Data (Staining of human peripheral blood with mouse anti-human macrophages Permeabilised with Leucoperm.)
The L1 or Calprotectin molecule is an intracytoplasmic antigen comprised of a 12kD alpha chain and a 14kD beta chain. The antigen is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes and by tissue macrophages. Variable results have been reported for staining brain macrophages and microglia.
Immunogen: Human monocytes. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MSR1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MSR1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. MSR1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD163, ELAC2, HOOK3, RNASEL, TRAF6. Blood, Brain, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Placenta, Spleen, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
