|The MSLN msln (Catalog #MBS210090) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI HUMAN MESOTHELIN reacts with Cynomolgus monkey
N.B. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MESOTHELIN can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen.
Immunohistology - Frozen: 1/10; 1/40. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MSLN msln for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MSLN msln product has the following accession number(s) (GI #293651530) (NCBI Accession #NP_001170826.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q13421). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse anti Human Mesothelin, clone K1, recongnizes a 40kDa GPI-anchored cell surface glycoprotein also known as CAK1. Mesothelin is a differentiation antigen present on normal mesothelial cells and overexpressed in several human tumors, including mesothelioma; ovarian and pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Mesothelin is attached to the cell membrane by a glycosylphosphatidyl inositol linkage and a 31-kDa shed fragment named megakaryocyte-potentiating factor (MPF). Clone K1 antibody has been used to differentiate between epithelial malignant mesothelioma and lung adenocarcinomas by immunohistology.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
1% Bovine Serum Albumin
Immunogen: Spleen lymphocytes from mice fused with the ovcar-3 ovarian carcinoma cell line. Histology Positive Control Tissue: Human tonsil or lymph node
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MSLN are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MSLN may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Ascites, Brain, Cervix, Intestine, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Pancreas, Prostate, Stomach tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Pancreatic Ductal, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Mesothelioma, Neoplasms, Experimental, Neoplasms, Mesothelial, Ovarian Neoplasms, Pancreatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI HUMAN MESOTHELIN.
