The MODO-DAB1 n/a (Catalog #MBS530024) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MHC Class II beta chain antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MHC Class II beta chain can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB).FC: 5 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MODO-DAB1 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MODO-DAB1 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #74136529) (NCBI Accession #NP_001028163.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Mouse monoclonal MHC Class II beta chain antibody.
Biological Significance: Human MHC Class II (HLA-DP, DQ & DR) molecules are expressed on dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, and myeloid cells. MHC Class II molecules are heterodimers of polymorphic transmembrane alpha and beta chains and generally bind exogenously derived peptides of about 10-17 amino acids. MHC Class II molecules interact with the T cell receptor on CD4+ T cells. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Immunogen: MHC class II beta chain antibody (PE) was raised in mouse using purified class II from T cell line as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MODO-DAB1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MODO-DAB1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
