The LAMB1 lamb1 (Catalog #MBS602940) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Laminin B1, beta1 reacts with Hamster, Human, Mouse, Porcine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Laminin B1, beta1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Immunoprecipitation (Native and denatured): 2ug antibody/mg protein lysate using Protein G.
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT.
Immunohistochemistry: 2ug/ml for 30 min at RT (Acetone-fixed frozen and alcohol-fixed, paraffin-embedded). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LAMB1 lamb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LAMB1 lamb1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #167614504) (NCBI Accession #NP_002282.2) (Uniprot Accession #P07942). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Laminin B1, beta1 with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot of human laminin using MBS602940.)
Immunoprecipitation (IP) (Immunoprecipitation)
Laminins are large heterotrimeric, noncollagenous glycoproteins composed of alpha, beta and gamma chains. Epithelial sheets in vivo are separated from the mesenchymal elements of the stroma by a thin layer of a specialized type of extracellular matrix termed the basement membrane (BM). This structure consists of individual components, some of which are ubiquitous in BMs and some are not. The ubiquitous ones comprise laminin (LN), entactin/nidogen (EN), collagen type IV (CIV), and large heparan sulfate proteoglycan (HSPG), which interact specifically with each other to form a continuous and regular BM. Alterations of BM integrity, from local discontinuities up to complete loss, are described in many types of human and animal epithelial neoplasms.
Immunogen: Murine EHS laminin preparation. Cellular Localization: Basement membrane. Positive Control: LS174T cells. Normal colon or colon carcinoma. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LAMB1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LAMB1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
