The KLF4 klf4 (Catalog #MBS200128) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The KLF4 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s KLF4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).WB: 1:1000 ~ 2000.
Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KLF4 klf4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The KLF4 klf4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #194248077) (NCBI Accession #NP_004226.3) (Uniprot Accession #O43474). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the KLF4 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (The Cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human KLF4 antibody (1:3000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1.: A549 cell lysate Lane 2.: HeLa cell lysate)
kLF4, which is also known as the gut-enriched kruppel-like factor (GkLF), is a zinc finger-containing transcription factor that belongs to the kruppel-like family of transcription factors. kLF4 plays important roles during the proliferation and differentiation of epithelial cells. Especially, it is found predominantly in gut and has been shown to be expressed during growth arrest. kLF4 is also involved in cell cycle control since expression of kLF4 inhibits DNA synthesis by blocking the G1/S phase of the cell cycle.
Antigen Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant human kLF4 (1-170aa) purified from E. coli. Clone Note: Anti-human kLF4 mAb, clone AT4E6, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human kLF4 protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing KLF4 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as KLF4 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
