Testing Data
Prostate specific antiben (PSA), also called kallikrein-3, is a chymotrypsin-like serine protease exclusively produced by the prostate epithelium, and abundant in seminal fluid. The PSA is an established tumor marker that aids in the identification, staging and follow up of prostate cancer. PSA can be detected in the sera of patients with prostatic carcinoma.
Antigen Preparation: A synthetic peptide corresponding to N-Terminus of human PSA protein. Positive Control: LNCaP cell lysate
Cellular Location: Cytoplasmic. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Kallikrein 3/PSA (NT) are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Kallikrein 3/PSA (NT) may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
