The IRF3 irf3 (Catalog #MBS140272) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s Interferon Regulatory Factor-3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).IRF3 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IRF3 irf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IRF3 irf3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #308199456) (NCBI Accession #NP_001184056.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Introduction: Members of the Interferon regulatory factor (IRF) family regulate gene expression critical to immune response, hemopoiesis, and proliferation. IRF-3 is a member of the IRF family, and is distinct from other family members. Its transcriptional activity is regulated solely by posttranslational modifications. It plays a crucial role in activation of innate immunity and inflammation in response to viral infection. IRF-3 mediates interferon-stimulated response element (isre) promoter activation. Functions as a molecular switch for antiviral activity. Dsrna generated during the course of an viral infection leads to IRF3 phosphorylation on the c-terminal serine/threonine cluster. This induces a conformational change, leading to its dimerization, nuclear localization and association with creb binding protein (crebbp) to form dsrna-activated factor 1 (draf1), a complex which activates the transcription of genes under the control of isre. The complex binds to the ie and prdiii regions on the ifn.
Immunogen: Anti-human IRF3 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with Recombinant human IRF3 amino acids 108-166 purified from E Coli. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IRF3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IRF3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Skin, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein.
