The IL20 il20 (Catalog #MBS535759) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IL20 antibody reacts with Human IL-20 and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IL20 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Inhibition, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL20 il20 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The IL20 il20 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #31083166) (NCBI Accession #NP_061194.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NYY1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Affinity purified Goat polyclonal IL20 antibody.
Biological Significance: IL20 is a member of the IL10 family of regulatory cytokines which includes IL10, IL19, IL20, IL22, IL24 and IL26. Members of this family share partial homology in their amino acid sequences but they are dissimilar in their biological functions. IL20 is a hematopoietic growth factor capable of stimulating colony formation by CD34+ multipotential progenitors, but not by other progenitor cells. IL20 signals through a receptor system composed of type I IL20R-an and type II IL20R-beta. Over-expression of IL20 in keratinocytes expressing both receptor subunits has been implicated in the induction of inflammatory skin disease. Immunogen: IL20 antibody was raised in goat using highly pure recombinant human IL-20 as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL20 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL20 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. IL20 also interacts with the following gene(s): IL10RA, IL1B, IL20RA, IL20RB, IL22RA1, IL28RA. Autoimmune Diseases, Brain Diseases, Diabetes Complications, Fibrosis, Hypersensitivity, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Injury, Necrosis, Pulmonary Fibrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to IL20 antibody.
