The IL13 il13 (Catalog #MBS535943) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IL13 antibody reacts with Murine IL-13 and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IL13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Inhibition, Western Blot (WB).ELISA: 0.5-2 ug/ml
Inhibition: 0.08-0.1 ug/ml
WB: 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL13 il13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IL13 il13 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #1045452) (NCBI Accession #AAB01681.1) (Uniprot Accession #P35225). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Affinity purified Rabbit polyclonal IL13 antibody.
Biological Significance: IL13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced primarily by activated Th2 cells, and also by mast cells and NK cells. Targeted deletion of IL13 in mice resulted in impaired Th2 cell development and indicated an important role for IL13 in the expulsion of gastrointestinal parasites. IL13 exerts anti-inflammatory effects on monocytes and macrophages and it inhibits the expression of inflammatory cytokines such as IL1beta, TNF-alpha, IL6 and IL8. IL13 has also been shown to enhance B cell proliferation and to induce isotype switching resulting in increased production of IgE. Blocking of IL13 activity inhibits the pathophysiology of asthma. Human and Mouse IL13 is cross-species reactive. Immunogen: IL13 antibody was raised in rabbit using highly pure recombinant murine IL-13 as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL13 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL13 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Asthma, Bronchial Hyperreactivity, Dermatitis, Atopic, Fibrosis, Hypersensitivity, Hypersensitivity, Immediate, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Hypersensitivity are some of the diseases may be linked to IL13 antibody. Bone Marrow, Brain, Mixed, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. IL13 also interacts with the following gene(s): GATA3, IL13RA1, IL18, IL3, IL4R, IL5, STAT6, TSLP, VCAM1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
