The IL1 beta il1b (Catalog #MBS534695) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IL1 beta antibody (biotin) reacts with Murine IL-1 beta and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IL1 beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).ELISA: 0.25-1 ug/ml
WB: 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL1 beta il1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IL1 beta il1b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6680415) (NCBI Accession #NP_032387.1) (Uniprot Accession #P10749). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal IL1 beta antibody (biotin) conjugated.
Biological Significance: IL1beta is a proinflammatory cytokine produced in a variety of cells including monocytes, tissue macrophages, keratinocytes and other epithelial cells. Both IL1a and IL1beta binds to the same receptor and has similar if not identical biological properties. These cytokines have a broad range of activities including, stimulation of thymocyte proliferation, by inducing IL2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, mitogenic FGFlike activity and the ability to stimulate the release of prostaglandin and collagenase from synovial cells. However, whereas IL1beta is a secreted cytokine, IL1a is predominantly a cell-associated cytokine. Tag/Conjugate: Biotin
Immunogen: IL1 beta antibody (biotin) was raised in rabbit using highly pure recombinant murine IL-1-beta as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL1 beta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL1 beta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Arthritis, Rheumatoid, Asthma, Colitis, Hypersensitivity, Inflammation, Myocardial Ischemia, Necrosis, Skin Diseases, Stomach Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to IL1 beta antibody (biotin). The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Lung, Lymph Node, Mammary Gland, Muscle, Spleen, Thymus, Vagina tissues are correlated with this protein. IL1 beta also interacts with the following gene(s): Casp1, Il18, Il1a, Il1r1, Il1r2, Il1rap, Il6, Myd88, Nfkb1, Nfkb2.
