The IgG n/a (Catalog #MBS235189) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s IgG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).ELISA: Minimum Dilution: 1/10,000; Maximum Dilution: 1/100,000;
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1/ 1000; Maximum Dilution: 1/ 10,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IgG n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #121088) (NCBI Accession #P01870.1) (Uniprot Accession #P01870). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Goat anti rabbit IgG antibody recognizes the Fc region of rabbit immunoglobulin G, confirmed by ELISA and immunoelectrophoresis. The antibody has not been species cross adsorbed and may cross react with IgG from other species. Goat anti rabbit IgG antibody has been used successfully as a secondary detection reagent for rabbit primary antibodies using immunohistochemical tchniques (Redondo et al. 2013).
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Proclin 300
0.2% Bovine Serum Albumin. Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to rabbit IgG were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Rabbit. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IgG are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IgG may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
