The IGF1 igf1 (Catalog #MBS140385) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation.
By direct ELISA, 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGF1 igf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IGF1 igf1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #163659903) (NCBI Accession #NP_001104755.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Introduction: The somatomedins, or insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), comprise a family of peptides that play important roles in mammalian growth and development. IGF1 mediates many of the growth-promoting effects of growth hormone (GH; MIM 139250). Early studies showed that growth hormone did not directly stimulate the incorporation of sulfate into cartilage, but rather acted through a serum factor, termed \'sulfation factor,\' which later became known as \'somatomedin\' (Daughaday et al., 1972). Three main somatomedins have been characterized: somatomedin C (IGF1), somatomedin A (IGF2; MIM 147470), and somatomedin B (MIM 193190) (Rotwein, 1986; Rosenfeld, 2003).
Reconstitution: Reconstitute with of H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
Immunogen: r.Human Growth Hormone. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGF1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGF1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. IGF1 also interacts with the following gene(s): IGF1R, IGFBP1, IGFBP2, IGFBP3, IGFBP4, IGFBP5, IGFBP6, INSR, IRS1, IRS2. Acromegaly, Adenoma, Breast Neoplasms, Female Urogenital Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Pituitary Neoplasms, Prostatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Anti Human Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1. Blood, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Ovary, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
