The IFNAR2 ifnar2 (Catalog #MBS421882) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-IFNAR2 Antibody reacts with Expected from sequence similarity: Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IFNAR2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA).
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 32000.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 28kDa band in Human Uterus lysates after 0.2ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 37.4kDa according to NP_000865.2. The 28kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IFNAR2 ifnar2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The IFNAR2 ifnar2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #19923129) (NCBI Accession #NP_000865.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful. The amino acid sequence is listed below:

IFNAR2 ifnar2

Immunogen: Peptide with sequence SYDSPDYTDESCT, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_000865.2 ; NP_997467.1; NP_997468.1.
Epitope: Internal region. Note: This antibody is expected to recognise all three reported isoforms (NP_000865.2 ; NP_997467.1; NP_997468.1). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IFNAR2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IFNAR2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. IFNAR2 also interacts with the following gene(s): GNB2L1, IFNA2, IFNAR1, IFNB1, JAK1, STAT1, STAT2, TYK2. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Pancreas, Spleen, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hepatitis B, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Goat anti-IFNAR2 Antibody.
