Testing Data
anti-I-EK monoclonal antibody is specific for cells expressing the Ia antigen coded for by the Ea subregion. The reaction pattern of this antibody with a panel of standard and recombinant haplotypes demonstrates that this antibody reacts with antigen Ia.m7, which is expressed by all haplotypes except b,f,q and s. This antibody is well suited for the quantitation and elimination of Ia bearing cells.
Immunogen: C3H
Donor: C3H.SW
Fusion Partner: SP2/0-Ag 14. Presentation: 100 ug Biotin conjugated Ig buffered in PBS, 0.02% NaN3 and EIA grade BSA as a stabilizing protein to bring total protein concentration to 4-5 mg/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing I-Ek (public; Ia.m7) are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as I-Ek (public; Ia.m7) may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
