Mouse anti Mouse MHC Class I H-2Kb antibody, clone AF6-88.5 recognizes the H-2Kb determinant present on all nucleated cells of mice expressing this MHC class I haplotype. The major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is a cluster of genes that are important in the immune response to infections. In mice, this complex is referred to as the histocompatibility 2 (H-2) region. There are 3 major MHC class I proteins encoded by the H-2 which are H-2K, H-2L and H-2D. The H- 2K gene is part of the murine H-2 complex on chromosome 17 and there are a large number of variant alleles of this gene. Mouse anti Mouse MHC Class I H-2Kb antibody, clone AF6-88.5 does not cross react with other haplotypes.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
Preparation: Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography. Immunogen: C57BL mouse splenocytes
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing H2-K1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as H2-K1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Inflammation, Lung Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to MOUSE ANTI MOUSE MHC CLASS I H-2Kb. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Lung, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein.
