The GSK3A gsk3a (Catalog #MBS632730) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 alpha, beta (GSK3a/b) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Xenopus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 alpha, beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml
Immunoprecipitation: 5-10ug per reaction. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GSK3A gsk3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The GSK3A gsk3a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #49574532) (NCBI Accession #NP_063937.2) (Uniprot Accession #P49840). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 alpha, beta (GSK3a/b) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Proteins were resolved from MCF-7 cell extracts by SDS-PAGE. The proteins were transferred to PVDF (MBS632730 at 0.5ug/ml.) The signal was detected using a goat F(ab’)2 anti-mouse IgG Alkaline Phosphatase conjugated antibody at a 1:5000 dilution and the membrane was incubated with CDP-substrate using the WesternStarTM method. The membrane was then exposed to Kodak BioMax film.)
Glycogen synthase kinase (GSK) is a protein serine kinase involved in the control of regulatory proteins such as glycogen synthase and the transcription factor, c-jun. In addition, it has been associated with the regulation of the microtubule-binding protein, Tau, thus indicating a potential role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer\'s Disease.
Immunogen: Recombinant Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 alpha, beta from Xenopus laevis. Positive Control: PC-12, A431 and 3T3-L1 cells. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GSK3A are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GSK3A may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Mammary Gland, Muscle, Ovary tissues are correlated with this protein.
