The GPR132 n/a (Catalog #MBS535421) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GPR132 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s GPR132 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin.IHC-P: 11 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GPR132 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The GPR132 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #649108372) (NCBI Accession #AIC51300.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Rabbit polyclonal GPR132 antibody.
Biological Significance: Probable G-protein coupled receptor 132 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GPR132 gene. This gene encodes a subfamily member of the G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily. The encoded protein is a high-affinity receptor for lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC), a major phospholipid component of oxidized low density lipoprotein. This protein may react to LPC levels at sites of inflammation to limit the expansion of tissue-infiltrating cells. A similar protein in mouse is involved in cell cycle progression. Biohazard Information: This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling.
Immunogen: GPR132 antibody was raised in rabbit using a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GPR132 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GPR132 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
